All of the cats used to live with me, however, my county enacted a 3 cat limit for any cats over 6 months old.  So, being responsible, I had to move the cats to my groom shop, which is 2.9 miles from my house, but in the county, not the city limits.  The cats go into their individual suites during the day and get let out at night to run the living room area,  some hang out on the front porches and get plenty of sunshine.  Since I work out there I am with them, and I occasionally spend the night.  The pregnant moms, and resulting family of kittens are born and raised at our home where the get lots of attention from the family, including a grandson and a Catahoula puppy.

None of my cats live in any barn or shed or other building, the boys live on the front porches you see pictured above.  The customers see the cats as they enter the shop.

I have genuine Italian Leather furniture, both in the cattery and at home,  because of the animals, yes they do leave claw marks in the furniture but it is sooo easy to get the hair and paw prints off of.  I will never have anything but leather.  The end tables have glass tops so that I can easily clean them as well, if glass is dirty you know it. I even have leather in my kitchen.
